Microsoft photoshop price. The Uber driver app has come a long way over the years. What used to only be an app to accept ride requests is now a massive portal that allows Uber drivers to do just about everything they would need to manage their account and get help from Uber.
- Uber Driver app – the app for drivers. Make cash in your spare time, with the new Driver app — built in partnership with driver-partners to bring you the tools you need, on and off the road. Help move people and things where they need to go. Drive flexibly, on your own schedule – no office, no boss.
- Learn how earnings and deposits work when you drive with Uber. Explore the Driver app resources that put you in charge and help you make the most of your time.
The driver app is an impressively comprehensive tool with tons of features, but it isn't very well organized. Some essential things you need to do — like submit a simple question to an Uber rep or report an accident — are typically buried behind menus, links, and chains of help articles.
Uber Driver app – the app for drivers. Turn your spare time into earnings with the new Driver app — built with drivers, to bring you helpful information at your fingertips. Help as you move people.
Uber completely overhauled the driver app in 2018, and I dug through all the changes and catalogued every major feature that I found inside. I left out the core features that you use while you're giving a ride. As the app changes, I'll revise this page. If you find anything that I've missed, leave a comment below!

Uber Driver App Home Screen
Go Online button
Tap the large button labeled ‘Go' on the app home screen to go online. Being online enables you to begin receiving trip requests. If you don't have notifications enabled for the driver app, you'll get a popup that tells you to enable notifications. If your account is deactivated for any reason, you'll get an error message when you try to toggle this switch. If that happens, you'll need to submit a question in the help center to figure out why your account is deactivated.
Map with surge areas
This map shows where you are and where current surge areas are. It doesn't show where other drivers are, and it's a good strategy to avoid big clusters of other drivers. To see where other drivers are, download the Uber passenger app and sign in. You'll be able to see around 10 of the nearest drivers.
Destination filter
If you want your ride requests to head toward a specific location, you can enable the Destination Filter twice per day. It's useful if you want to get paid rides when you're commuting in and out of a city, or if you want to paid rides heading toward a busy area, such as an airport.
To enable the Destination Filter, tap on the magnifying glass icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Then enter a destination address and tap Set Destination. You can only use this feature twice each day.
The Trip Planner
The bottom of the home screen contains a tab that launches the Trip Planner. In the Trip Planner, you can:
- See upcoming promotions
- See your driving time, the number of hours you've been in driver mode
- Set your Driving Preferences, which allows you to change the type of ride requests you can get. This is where you can enable or disable Uber Eeats delivery requests.
App Menu: How to Access Earnings, Profile, Account, Help, and Notifications
Many of the features of the Uber Driver app can be located by tapping the menu icon (☰) in the upper left corner of the home screen. Tapping the menu button (☰) opens a new screen that contains buttons for Inbox, Promotions, Earnings, Uber Pro, Wallet, Account, and Help.
Inbox
The Inbox area lists account notices and updates about features and promotions.
Promotions
The Promotions area lists the promotions available to you such as Quest and Boost. There will not always be promotions available to every driver in every market.
Earnings – See current and past earnings reports
The Uber driver app contains complete information about your earnings in the Earnings area of the app. The main features of the Earnings section is to display your current earnings for the week, recent transactions on your account, promotions you're eligible for, and cashing out your earnings with Instant Pay.
Earnings Details – Shows daily earnings, time online, trips completed, earnings, and your expected daily deposit for the week
I've found that it only takes a few minutes for new earnings to show up in your daily report, but don't expect everything to show up instantly. Some payouts, like payouts from hourly guarantee promotions, don't get added to your account until the end of the week.
Trip history – On the Earnings Details page, scroll to find the 'See Trips' buttons. This is where you'll find a list of your recent trip history. See how much you've earned from each trip, how much commission Uber took, and how much surge pricing was applied to individual rides. This is the best place to report issues with individual rides.
To report an issue on an individual ride, find the ride and tap it, then scroll down to the 'Help' button. You can report an issue with the fare amount, report your rider, let Uber know a rider left an item, or let Uber know that you were in an accident on that specific ride.
Recent Transactions – Each trip or referral reward is listed in this section as a separate transaction. Tap on the transaction to view details The top of this screen shows your balance for the week, and provides and Instant Pay 'Cash Out' button.
Promotions – This area has announcements about upcoming promotions like hourly fare guarantees or one-time bonuses for driving during certain days and times. I've found that it's not comprehensive, and sometimes it doesn't list all active promotions. To stay aware of all active promotions, pay attention to emails from Uber and app messages.
Invite and earn – This section lists your driver referral link and driver promo code, which you can use to refer new drivers to the app. You may be eligible for a bonus if someone signs up with your code or link and completes the required number of rides.
This area also has two reports: Invite Status – Pending and Invite Status – Goal complete. Each is a report of your invites and where they are in the process. You can see whether they've signed up but not started driving yet, or that they're signed up, driving, and on their way to earning a bonus.
Uber Pro
Uber Pro is a points system that unlocks benefits as you give more rides. Tap Uber Pro in the app menu to see your current point status, star rating, cancellation rate, and your current benefits. You will also see the benefits of higher Uber Pro levels.
Wallet: How to cash out your Uber earnings on demand
Most Uber drivers are eligible for Instant Pay, a feature that allows you to cash out your earnings whenever you want. The minimum amount you can cash out is $1, and the fee for each transfer is $0.50. To access instant pay, tap your profile picture on the app home screen, tape Earnings, then tap Cash Out. Follow the steps to set up Instant pay. Once it's set up, you can cash out your earnings up to 5 times each day, and the transfers are close to instant.
Instant Pay requires a debit card. If you don't have your own debit card of if you don't want to use it, you can sign up for Uber Visa Debit Card, which is created and serviced by GoBank.
How to view past pay statements in the Uber Driver app
All photoshop download. To view past statements in the driver app, go to the Earnings area, tap Earnings Details, then tap the arrows (< & >) to view the earnings details for a previous or next week.
I find it easier to find past pay statements at partners.uber.com, where previous dates right at the top of the report.
Profile – View your ratings & more
When you tap your image at the top of the menu screen, a page will shows your profile details and your driver rating. This area contains two key features: Your profile, and your ratings.
To edit basic profile details, tap the pencil icon in the upper right corner. That will allow you to change your photo and add details about yourself. To change your name or view other important information like tax details, head to partners.uber.com. Not every setting can be viewed and changed in the driver app.
Your driver ratings – All Uber drivers must maintain a 4.6 star average rating to avoid being deactivated. The Profile area displays your current average star rating. Tap it to bring up more detail.
After you tap your ratings, the Ratings page display a graph showing your last 500 ratings. A graph shows the distribution of 1, 2,3, 4, and 5 star ratings. Feedback from riders who rated your less than 4 stars is also displayed on this page. When a passenger rates a driver less than 5 stars, Uber asks for a reason why.
Rider compliments and achievements – The profile page also lists compliments from riders and Achievements you have received.
Account – View vehicle and document info, change app settings, change app settings, and more

Payment – The Payment section allows you to view your active payout method, and set up instant pay. You can edit or delete your current payout method by tapping on it in the Payment area. I find that a better way to view and edit payout account information is at partners.uber.com.
Insurance – This is where you can view insurance info that you would need in the event of an accident. This area also shows insurance coverage for different scenarios. There are three sections: Liability Coverage, Contingent Physical Damage Coverage, and Driver Injury Protection.
The Liability Coverage section provides your Certificate of Insurance, displays other pertinent policy info, and shows liability coverage details. The Contingent Physical Damage Coverage section also provides a Certificate of Insurance and collision coverage details.
The Driver Injury Protection area leads you to an offer to get additional coverage for disability payments, medical expenses, and survivor benefits. The current code is $0.04 per mile.
App Settings – This area allows you to manage app settings, most importantly preferred navigation and sound settings.

About – This displays the version of the app you're using, and an Acknowledgements section that lists third party software libraries that the app uses.
Help – Contact Uber, read help articles
The Help section is where you can contact uber or find a help article from a big library that covers just about every issue you might face as a driver. Find the Help section by tapping your profile image on the home screen, then tap Help in the upper right corner.
The Help area is very comprehensive, but often the answer to your question will be buried in a section that you might not think to open. There is no search feature in the app, so the best way to quickly find an Uber help articles is to go to help.uber.com. An even better way to get help with your account is to visit an in-person office, known as a Greenlight Hub.
You'll see these Help categories in the driver app
- Trip Issues and Adjustments – Report issues with a trip, ask Uber to review or adjust a fare
- Using the app – How-to articles about going online, receiving trip requests, navigation, picking up & dropping off
- Delivering with Uber – More information about delivering for UberEATS

- Signing Up – Driver requirements, creating an account, downloading Uber

The Support Center – View Messages and Call Us – AT the bottom of the Help area, the Support Center lists 'view Messages' and 'Call Us.' View Messages is a log of past messages from support. You can reply to support from View Messages.
'Call Us' is a button that calls Uber driver support if it's available in your area.
